The operation of Damascus International Airport has been resumed

The Syrian media announced the reactivation of Damascus International Airport on Tuesday.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Citing Sputnik, Syrian media reported that the activities of Damascus International Airport have resumed today, Tuesday.

The activities of this airport were stopped after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s regime on December 8. The officials of the said airport announced that the necessary measures have been taken to restart it.

Earlier, Qatar Airways announced that it will resume its flights to Syria from today after a 13-year suspension. These airlines are supposed to have three flights to Damascus every week.
