The foreign ministers of Syria and Jordan explained their views on various issues in a press conference.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi said in a press conference with his Syrian counterpart: Syria’s stability and its security are the same as Jordan’s stability.

He pointed to the many challenges facing the new rulers of Syria and that it will take time to deal with the challenges, he emphasized Amman’s desire to establish joint relations with Syria.

Al-Safadi announced that his country respects the will of the Syrian people and is with Syria in its reconstruction.

He announced his country’s readiness to supply electricity to Syria immediately and that it will move in this direction as soon as possible.

Syrian Foreign Minister Asad Al-Shibani also said: We are moving towards the realization of Syrian sovereignty and regional stability. We are moving in the direction of lifting the sanctions imposed on Syria, which has hindered any positive partnership against our people.

He emphasized: We want the national dialogue to fulfill the will of the Syrian people.

By attacking the former Syrian regime, al-Shibani considered it the cause of problems with the people and neighboring countries of Syria.

He considered the approach of the new rulers of Syria to be a transparent dialogue with the neighbors and said: The decision of the US Treasury is about opening sanctions, but we are waiting for the lifting of all sanctions.
