The establishment of security fortifications by Iraq near the common border with Syria
In the shadow of the spread of insecurity in Syria, Iraqi forces are building a border wall and intensifying security measures.
report Mehr News Agency quoted by Arabi 21, Tahsin al-Khafaji, head of the Iraq Security News Information Committee, emphasized that 400 kilometers of the border wall between this country and Syria have been built so far.
He added: The total length of this wall is 615 km, 80% of which has been built. The western borders of Iraq are completely safe.
Al-Khafaji added: The remaining amount of this wall will be built by the middle of this year and there will be no more security gaps in the borders.
With the rule of terrorists over Syria and the spread of insecurity in this country, the Iraqi authorities are increasingly seeking to protect the common borders.
