Suleiman Franjieh withdrew from the Lebanese presidential candidacy in favor of Aoun
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted Al-Nashrah, on the eve of the Lebanese parliament’s election to elect the country’s president, Suleiman Farnjieh, head of the “Al-Mardeh” movement, withdrew his candidacy for the presidency of Lebanon.
Franjieh issued a statement and emphasized that he is withdrawing from the candidacy for the position of the president of Lebanon due to the current situation.
Also, the head of the dead stream announced his support for “Joseph Aoun”, the commander of the Lebanese army, to assume the post of president of this country.
