The organization added that the economy has been resilient in the past year and is expected to grow by 2.9 percent in 2026, with the 2025 economic growth outlook for the United States and China up from 1.7 percent. and 4.5% increased to 1.9% and 4.8%.
Growth in the Eurozone and Japan decreased by 1.1% and 1% compared to previous estimates of 1.3% and 1.1%.
Business reported, the United Nations expects economic growth around the world to be low but stable in the short term.
This organization also explained that although inflation is decreasing, the intensification of geopolitical tensions and climate shocks bring the risk of increasing inflationary pressures again.
