Financial Times: “Steve Witkoff” is Trump’s possible choice for Iran issues

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Financial Times, knowledgeable sources announced the selection of the person in charge of the Iran case by the American president.

Financial Times newspaper announced that “Donald Trump” the President of the United States is going to choose “Steve Witkoff” to be responsible for the Iran case.

Informed sources claimed that the US president plans to test the diplomatic approach before increasing pressure on Iran.

Some Trump administration officials have told diplomats and foreign colleagues that they expect Witkoff to lead efforts to explore the possibility of a diplomatic compromise with Iran.

Witkoff is a real estate investor who allegedly played a key role in securing the Gaza ceasefire. According to the Financial Times, he is supposed to manage the actions related to the nuclear program.
