Iraq’s warning of ISIL’s re -empowerment in Syria after the fall of Assad
The Iraqi Foreign Minister has warned of expanding the risk of ISIL's re -empowerment in Syria and the acquisition of new weapons by these terrorist elements in Syria.
reports Mehr News Agency quoted by Shafaq News, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fad Hussein on the sidelines of the Davos summit emphasized that the area under the control of ISIL elements is increasing inside Syria.
“ISIL terrorists and other groups can obtain more weapons today because the Syrian army has been destroyed,” he said.
Hussein said: ISILs have collected more weapons and have attracted new forces.
“These terrorist elements are on our borders as they are based on the Jordanian borders,” he said. This makes us worried.
