The first trip of “Ben Farhan” to Damascus after the fall of the Assad regime and meeting with Al-Jolani
In his first official visit after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, the Saudi Foreign Minister arrived in Damascus and met with the leader of the terrorist organization Tahrir al-Sham.
report Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, Ahmed al-Shara aka Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, the leader of the Tahrir Al-Sham terrorist organization, met with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Damascus.
This is Bin Farhan’s first official visit to Syria since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
The two sides are supposed to discuss the relations between Saudi Arabia and Syria.
During the past days, Riyadh hosted an international-Arab meeting regarding Syria and efforts to lift sanctions against this country.
On January 2, Bin Farhan met with Asad al-Shibani, the foreign minister of the terrorist regime of Jolani, in Riyadh.
