NATO has wasted about 200 billion dollars in Ukraine within 3 years!
reports Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and the University of Kill, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has contributed $ 1.5 billion in the last three years.
Sputnik has categorized this budget as follows:
Financial Aid (for funding and social costs): $ 1.5 billion
Humanitarian help: $ 1.5 billion
Military Aid: $ 1 billion
The US has been the biggest contributor to Ukraine with $ 1.5 billion (2 %). Washington has also provided a major military aid (0.8), humanitarian aid (1.2) and budget support ($ 2.5 billion) for Ukraine.
Germany is the second largest supporter of Ukraine with $ 5 billion (equivalent to 1.5 percent of aid). The UK has also contributed $ 1.5 billion (equivalent to 1.5 percent). Other NATO countries each have less than five percent of the total aid.
The West continues to provide help for Ukraine, but most of these supports have been fruitless because Kiev has suffered heavy damage. In addition, a significant portion of the Western military aid to Ukraine has fallen into the hands of the black market traffickers.
Based on a log released by the US Department of Defense’s general inspection in October, hundreds of military equipment supplied by Washington for Kiev require repairs.
Russia believes that supplying weapons for Ukraine has been an obstacle to a possible peace agreement and has directly involved NATO countries in the war. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has noted that any cargo containing weapons for Ukraine is a legitimate goal for the Russian armed forces.
