Iran’s exports to France by 5 % increase

Despite Iran's negative trade balance of 215 million euros with France, in 2024, Iran's exports to this country have increased by 12%.

Iran ranks 114th among France’s trading partners and is the 87th customer of France and its 124th supplier. France’s share of these exchanges mainly includes pharmaceutical products with 29.5%, medical equipment with 21.3% and chemicals with 13.3%.

At the same time, Iran has exported most agricultural products with 16.3%, food with 19.8% and medicine with 14.8% to France. The trade balance with a surplus of 215 million euros in favor of France shows the major gap between imports and exports with this country. Sanctions, especially US sanctions, have been the biggest obstacle to the expansion of trade between the two countries.
