This morning, a high-ranking delegation from the Russian Foreign Ministry led by Mikhail Bogdanov, a special envoy to Putin in the Middle East and Africa, arrived in Damascus, the Syrian capital.
He is set to meet with Syrian Foreign Minister Al Julani and Asad al-Shaibani.
Alexander Lavorntif Putin’s special envoy to Syria also accompanies the delegation.
