Zelnsky: Putin is not afraid of Europe; Trump stands behind Ukraine
reports Mehr News Agency Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelnsky in an interview with FoxNews urged US President Donald Trump to support Kiev.
Trump, which officially returned to the White House on January 5, has promised that the Ukrainian and Russian war will end soon. Trump’s advisers, however, say that the agreement may take months.
The US President has also expressed his desire to talk to Vladimir Putin, his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. Trump’s victory in the November 5 election increased hopes for a diplomatic solution to end the Ukrainian war.
“We ask him (Trump) to be on the side of justice and support Ukraine,” Zelksky said. Putin is not afraid of Europe.
He added that Ukraine does not recognize Russian occupation but prefers a diplomatic solution.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, the United States has contributed more than $ 5 billion to Kiev, which is $ 5 billion in security aid. However, the continuation of these aids at the same speed is unlikely under Trump’s presidency.
