Eyiton and Palisids fires, which began on January 7, led to widespread destruction in these areas under severe drought and powerful winds.
Palceids’ fire began east of Malibu and expanded rapidly. The fireplace also began from the slopes of the Los Angeles National Forest and spread to Altadana.
Los Angeles health officials said at least 4 people were killed in the fires, including Palisids 2 and Eyiton 2 victims. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
Pulisids fire converted about 2,5 hectares of land into a telly ash and destroyed 2,000 buildings and damaged more than one thousand other structures.
Eyiton fire also burned about 5,000 hectares of land, with more than 1,600 hectares located in urban areas.
Authorities say the weekend storm has brought the most dramatic rainfall in recent months and helped firefighters in control of the fire.
