Congratulatory message of the President of Azerbaijan to the Supreme Leader of Iran on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution

reports Azerbaijani President Elham Aliyev, in a letter, congratulated the Supreme Leader of the Revolution on the forty -sixth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Aliyev also congratulated Iranian President Massoud Medesian in a separate message.

In Elham Aliyev’s message to Supreme Leader Supreme Leader states: I and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s National holiday – the day of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, expressed their most sincere congratulations I wish you the best to Mr. Supreme and all the people of your country.

In another part of the message we read in another part of the message: The relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran are strengthened by the will of our nations who have lived in friendship and goodwill for centuries and have common spiritual values. We are of particular importance on developing our interdisciplinary relations and expanding cooperation based on these principles. I believe that the relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Iran will be expanded in accordance with the interests of our governments and nations based on mutual respect and proximity and will serve to strengthen the stability and security of the region.

Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jarshankar also congratulated Sayed Abbas Arakchi, his Iranian counterpart, as well as the Iranian government and nation, .
