Kremlin: We are forming a negotiating team with the US
reports Mehr News Agency quoted by the Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced the start of a group formation for negotiations with the United States to resolve the Ukrainian War.
In response to the question of whether Russia had begun the formation of a negotiating team, Peskov said: “The work has begun.” We will inform the president as soon as the President makes the relevant decisions.
Peskov did not provide details about who chaired the group.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said Moscow and Washington are keen to start the process of starting the Ukrainian War. According to Trump, he has asked US Secretary of State Maku Rubio, CIA manager John Retcliffe, Michael Waltz, White House National Security Adviser and Steve Witekaf, his special adviser to guide the negotiations.
