South Korea’s ruling party rejected the resignation of Yun Suk Yul before the court ruling
reports Mehr News Agency quoted by Anatolia, Won Jung-Si, the provisional leader of the South Korean Power Party Party, with speculation about the voluntary resignation of Yun Suk Yul, the impeached and imprisoned President before the vote. The final of the impeachment court said that such a move was “unrealistic and inaccurate”.
Won responded to reporters’ question about the possibility of this decision by Yun Suk Yul in the midst of concerns about tensions and clashes between South Korean political parties, saying: “I don’t think his resignation necessarily. Solve all of these issues and this is regardless of whether it is compatible with the constitution.
He added that the decision on resignation depends entirely on Yun Suk Yul and is not the responsibility of his legal team. Earlier, the legal team of the South Korean president had announced that there was a possibility of “big decision”.
Won had previously acknowledged that Yoon Sok Yul’s decision to declare military rule on December 3 was “clearly mistaken and exaggeration”. The failure of South Korea’s failed military rule, which lasted only four hours, has put it in the worst political crisis in contemporary Seoul.
Yoon is currently under criminal investigation on charges of abuse of power and leadership leadership. He is the first president of South Korea to be arrested while serving. He is also banned from leaving.
The case of Yun Suk Yul, which has been suspended from December 5 by a parliamentary vote for impeachment, is in the hands of the Constitutional Court. The court has only 6 months to dismiss or retention.
