reports Mehr News Agency Quoted by Anatolia, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Russia will make a formal trip to Ankara, the Turkish capital tomorrow,
Diplomatic sources report, Lavrov will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan as part of the trip.
The parties will discuss bilateral cooperation, especially trade, energy and tourism, and will consult on diplomatic efforts to stop the war in Ukraine.
Turkish and Russian foreign ministers will evaluate recent calls between Moscow-Washington and the aid that Ankara can provide in this process.
Hakan Fidan will emphasize Türkiye’s readiness to host direct talks between Russia and Ukraine.
