Erdogan: We support Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence

reports Mehr News Agency quoted by Anatolia News Agency, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, The Turkish president posted a video message to the fourth Crimean summit on clashes in Ukraine: Turkey will continue its efforts to bring a fair and sustainable peace!

Recep Tayyip Erdogan added: The way to just and sustainable peace is only possible through an equation in which both sides of the war are equal and fair.

He added: “Turkey has provided the necessary support for Ukraine in accordance with the principles of international law since the Crimea’s attachment in 2008 to the principles of international law.” As we have expressed our opposition to the war five years ago, today we are determined to make any efforts to end the war through negotiations. By doing so, we repeat our strong support for the preservation of territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence.
“We all have important responsibilities to celebrate the anniversary of peace and not war next year,” said the Turkish President.
