Hamas: Pressure the mediator to open the crossings immediately
reports
Hamas said: Closing the crossings is a violation of the ceasefire agreement, an agreement that emphasizes the facilitation of the entry of aid without any restrictions. This siege is clearly considered a violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions and, as a war crime and collective punishment, threatens the lives of innocent civilians.
Hamas’s statement: Preventing food, medicine, fuel and essential aid has led to a sharp increase in food prices and catastrophic shortage of medical equipment and the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas said: The closure of the crossings and the preventing heavy machinery has disrupted efforts to remove the bodies, rebuild and repair the affected areas and increase the suffering of residents who live in very difficult conditions.
Hamas’s statement says: We urge the mediator to push the occupation regime to adhere to his commitments and open the crossings immediately to ensure that the human aid flow is guaranteed and the public punishment policy is applied by the occupiers.
Hamas emphasized: “We condemn the use of humanitarian aid as a tool for political ransom, emphasizing that these aggressive policies will never break our nation’s will and fail.” Our nation will continue to resist and struggle until the realization of its legitimate rights.
