Italy boycotes Ukraine’s “enthusiastic coalition”

Italian media have written that the Italian prime minister will not attend a proposed next conference by Britain and France on Ukraine.

reports Mehr News Agency Ripbubika and La Stampa wrote in reports that Prime Minister Georgia Melony has described the video conference on Ukraine as Britain and France as “a coalition with a willingness to increase military support for Ukraine”.

Rippleica has written that Meloni will boycott the Virtual European Summit, which will be chaired by British Prime Minister Car Starmer next Saturday next week.
The Italian Prime Minister has reportedly departed from the French-Gelis axis due to opposition to London and Paris’s dispatching peacekeepers to support Kiev, according to reports.

Ripbubica, Meloni believes that Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron have a hasty insistence on their plan, and Stampa has written that “this action can be the front that Starmer and Macron are trying to create.”
Italian media have claimed that US President Donald Trump’s government attempts to boycott the conference after detailed talks with other Western governments on the attack of Donald Trump’s administration.

At an emergency meeting in London in early March, Starmer announced that Britain and France are ready to lead Ukraine’s support of military and fighter supporters and fighters. The plan came shortly after the February 7th controversy at the White House between Trump and Ukraine President Walodimir Zelnsky.

Meloni shortly after the London summit stressed that “Italy will not send to Ukraine.” He also added that European politicians should focus on creating conditions for sustainable peace between Russia and Ukraine, including security guarantees for Kiev.
