Accordingly, Marco Rubio , US Secretary of State on the government’s decision to cancel Mahmoud Khalil, Palestinian citizen SPAN 2 years old and former Columbia University student.

Rubio said in his remarks: “If anyone tells us when applying for a visa, he intends to participate in Hamas supportive events, this is in the interests of US foreign policy.” If he had told us this, we would never give him a visa.

Mahmoud Khalil was detained earlier this month by US immigration agents and informed that residence permanent will be canceled in the United States. US officials, including President Donald Trump, arrested Khalil as part of the strict measures against student protesters.

However, they have failed to prove that Khalil has taken illegal action. Instead, US officials, including Rubio have identified protests to end the Zionist regime’s war in Gaza as “support for Hamas”.

, however, the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) on Saturday filed a complaint against US government actions to dismiss international students and scholars who support Palestinian rights. The committee says such actions are contrary to the US constitution.

This case is raised when tensions in US universities over the Gaza War protests have increased.

Many human rights activists and organizations have called on the US government to refrain from firing students and researchers for expressing political views, and instead of dialogue and peaceful resolution of disputes.
