Trump: Venezuelan oil -buying countries will incur a 5 % tariff

The US president announced a 5 % tariff on any trade with Venezuelan oil and gas countries.

reports Mehr News Agency US President Trump has announced that any trade with Venezuelan oil and gas buyers will be subject to a 5 % tariff.

In justifying this tariff, Trump described it as a response to the transfer of “ Tren de Aragova” to the United States in justifying the tariff. In February, the Trump administration listed the gang on the list of terrorist organizations. According to him, the gang has entered the US with the help of the Venezuelan government.
Venezuela wrote on the US and the freedoms that we support it, “the US President wrote on his social network called Truth Sushal. Therefore, any country that buys Venezuelan oil or gas will have to pay a 5 % tariff to the United States in any trade with our country.

These tariffs will begin on April 2nd, and the affected countries have little opportunity to adapt to it. This is one of the numerous tariffs that Trump has imposed or threatened by the White House since he returned to the White House. Trump has imposed a 5 percent tariff against Mexican and Canadian goods. Canadian steel and aluminum are also subject to a 5 % surplus tariff. He has also threatened to impose a 5 % tariff on imports from China in a similar move that will impose a 5 % tariff on imported alcohol imported from the block in response to the EU’s mutual tariffs on US goods.

Venezuela, one of the major oil exporters and the government, is strongly dependent on oil exports. China is the largest Venezuelan oil market after the United States, while Washington has imposed widespread sanctions on Latin America.
