Hamas described the move as an unethical and clear alignment with a fugitive war criminal from international justice and emphasized that the decision is a gross violation of international law and the principles of human justice.

The movement stated that the decision of Hungary is a blow to the concept of international justice and an example of the dual policies of some Western governments, especially Hungary and the United States.

Hamas added: “This approach will weaken international judicial institutions, encourage criminals to escape punishment and a direct threat to global peace and stability.”

Hamas called for an immediate revision of the Hungarian government in this shameful and unjust decision, stressing that the country should adhere to its legal obligations and to submit Benjamin Netanyahu to the International Criminal Court for war.
