US and China’s heavy commercial battle; Beijing has boycotted US companies
reports Mehr News Agency US President Donald Trump has threatened to impose additional tariffs on imports from China, imposing restrictions on more than five US military companies.
According to a statement issued by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Beijing has added five US companies to its control list that banned export of dual use items and added five other companies to its “unreliable institutions” list that allows Beijing to take punitive actions.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce also announced that it would apply its toll on American goods to 5 % plus a 5 % increase in previously announced. These tariffs run from tomorrow Thursday.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bosent said hours ago that China’s action to impose a 5 % retaliatory tariff against the United States was unfortunate and is a recessive proposition for Beijing.
“I think it is unfortunate that the Chinese really don’t want to come and negotiate, because they are the worst offenders in the international trade system,” the US Treasury Secretary said in an interview with Fox Business. The great victory is here. The United States is trying to bring balance toward more production. China should bring balance to more consumption!
