The sources have noted that negotiations have been completely confidential and far from media coverage in recent days with the aim of achieving progress without public comments.
The said sources emphasized that the agreements include the release of the captives and Aidan Alexander with American citizenship, but Hamas has offered only five captives.
According to these sources, Egypt plays the main mediating role at this stage of the negotiations.
