Egypt’s opposition to Palestinian displacement plans from Gaza
The Egyptian Foreign Minister once again announced Cairo's opposition to any plans to move the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
report to Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdul Abdulti announced at a meeting of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee on Gaza: Cairo is with any design for Palestinian Palestinians.
He noted: Such actions are a clear violation of humanitarian international law, weakens peace efforts and threatens regional peace and security.
Abdultiyat added that Egypt continues to participate in the Gaza peace talks and calls for the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.
He also emphasized the importance of preserving Palestinian territorial unity and preventing any compulsory displacement policy. Egypt had earlier stated that it would not allow the Palestinians to move from Gaza to the Sinai Peninsula.
