For Russia, the Middle East is a close and neighboring region whose situation directly affects Russian security. Therefore, Moscow’s practical measures are focused on resolving the problems and conflicts in the area. One of the most important of these is developments in Iran’s nuclear program.
Russia has always emphasized the resolution of Iran’s nuclear issue through political and diplomatic and welcomed the Washington-Tehran agreement to conduct talks on nuclear issues. Moscow is ready to play a role in these negotiations, but the decision is responsible for the parties. They selected Oman for the first round of negotiations that will continue.
Russia supports Iran’s stance on equality-based negotiations and mutual respect in a quiet environment and non-authentic . Moscow, the American strategy of “peace through power”, considers the policy of threats and demands associated with ultimatum as unacceptable.
