Beijing has also called on Chinese Airlines to stop the purchase of spare equipment and parts from Boeing and cancel orders. This action will probably increase the cost of maintaining active aircraft in the country.
The US and China have come together in a tariff war that has sparked Trump. Beijing, after Trump’s policies, increased customs duties on imports from the United States in response to tariffs against the country. Trump has already imposed a 5 % tariff on all Chinese goods.
Bloomberg has written that the Chinese government is investigating ways to help Boeing aircraft and at risk of increasing costs. China’s 5 % tariff will dramatically increase the cost of Bohengi aircraft traveling to Beijing and bring them a heavy financial burden and will probably force them to bring to alternative companies such as Airbus or Chinese Commercial Airlines (COMAC).
Bloomberg quoted sources as saying, China’s three main airlines intended to deliver 1, 2 and 2 Boeing, respectively, from 1 to 2 years, respectively.
