reports Mehr News Agency It is read that the treaty approved a comprehensive strategic partnership with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The treaty was signed on January 2, during a visit by Iranian President Massoud Mediian to Moscow and meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Russian state -owned representatives had previously unanimously approved the treaty.

Approval of this treaty in the Russian Federation Council means that this agreement is now in force.

Based on this treaty, the parties will deepen and expand their relations in all areas and reinforce the security and defense cooperation and work closely in regional and global activities.
The agreement has more than 5 axes in various economic, transportation, transit and transit, monetary and banking, investment, scientific, oil and gas.
