Reuters claims Grossi invited to attend Iran -US negotiations in Rome
report
Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency in an interview with French newspaper Lomvand said: It will be. Iran has no nuclear weapons, though it has what is needed to build a nuclear bomb.
This is as Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Foreign Minister of Legal and International Affairs, said in response to Grossi’s remarks: “It is early to verify, but if an understanding is formed, the International Atomic Energy Agency will do the issue.”
Mr Grossi said today: Without the agency, every understanding is a piece of paper, and it is very early for Mr. Grossi to talk about as well.
In fact, any understanding will be formed, the International Atomic Energy Agency will naturally be invited, and the verification will be discussed and understood, and the same should be made of sanctions.
We need to have mechanisms to see if the other party fulfills its obligations to lift the sanctions. In this sense, interactions with the agency are very important and should continue.
