A spokesman for the Oman Foreign Ministry took a stand on today's indirect talks between Iran and the United States.

He added: “The goal of the future negotiations is to achieve a permanent and binding agreement that guarantees Iran’s lack of nuclear weapons, fully lift Iran’s sanctions, and maintain its right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.”

Oman Foreign Ministry spokesman said: Transparent dialogue and consultation is the only way of understanding and agreeing that is in favor of all parties at the regional and international level.

he added: The next round of negotiations will be held in Muscat in the coming days.
