Fox News Hands Kyiv Over to Russia
According to the English section of “Webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and referencing “Ukraine Today,” Fox News aired footage during its live broadcast of Easter Sunday mass from the Vatican today, showing images of Moscow alongside Ukraine’s capital cathedral—mislabeling Kyiv as part of Russia in the on-screen caption.
The report stated that the primary image was of Moscow, while a side window displayed footage from Kyiv (Ukraine’s capital) accompanied by a caption written “in Russian,” with text below reading: Kyiv, Russia.
Initially, the broadcast segment was titled “Easter Mass: Kyiv, Ukraine.” However, after a brief interruption and resumption, the title changed to: “Easter Mass: Kyiv, Russia.”
The incident occurred as Fox News concurrently aired Ukrainian Orthodox Easter services from St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedral in Kyiv alongside coverage from Moscow’s Christ the Savior Cathedral—where Russian President Vladimir Putin was in attendance.
