Israeli Army Chief of Staff Spotted Roaming in Syria
According to the English section of “Webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, General “Eyal Zamir,” Chief of Staff of the Zionist army, conducted a patrol in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights on Sunday and held discussions with Zionist commanders and soldiers stationed in the area.
He claimed: “this region is vital. We entered this contry after Syria’s collapse and are attempting to seize critical and strategic points. We are present on the frontlines of this area to defend ourselves in the best possible way.”
Zamir emphasized: “From here, anyone moving on this mountain can be seen. This is a strategic location. We do not know what will happen in the future, but our presence in this region holds immense importance.”
It is worth noting that since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria, the Zionist regime has targeted various areas of this region with bombings as well as aerial and ground attacks.
