According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah, Mahdi al-Mashat, President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council and Chairman of the National Defense Council, stated during a meeting of the Supreme National Council on Sunday: “We thank our steadfast nation and the heroes of the armed and security forces.”
The president of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council and Chairman of the National defense Council added: “Our position on Gaza remains firm, and we will not relent.… America’s attack on our country is an aggression and a challenge to all international laws. Trump thought he came for leisure, but he has been trapped in a strategic quagmire.”
Mahdi al-Mashat further emphasized: “America’s attack on Yemen has failed as its first day. Our intelligence indicates that the USS Truman was rendered inoperative from the early days of this war. The Yemeni official stated: America and Israel are trying to corner Palestine alone.
