Palestinian Foreign Ministry Warns of Famine Risk in Gaza
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, the Zionist regime has blocked humanitarian aid from entering Gaza for seven weeks, while the international community remains silent on the issue. This has endangered the lives of over 2 million Palestinians in the besieged enclave.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry expressed grave concern over worsening hunger conditions in gaza, stating that more than two million Palestinians have been under full blockade and food sanctions by Israel as March 2, putting their lives at risk.
Citing a report from the UN World Food Programme, the ministry warned that Gaza’s dwindling food reserves will soon be exhausted, threatening civilian lives.
The ministry urged Arab nations and the international community to take this warning seriously and use all means to open aid corridors and pressure the Zionist regime.
Officials of the Zionist regime have openly spoken about ethnically cleansing Gaza and, with full U.S. support, have now imposed a complete siege on the strip.
