Axios Reports Upcoming Phone Call Between U.S. President and Israeli Prime Minister on Gaza Ceasefire, Prisoner Swap Deal, and Nuclear Talks with Iran
According to the English section of “Webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency, Barak Ravid, a reporter for Axios, stated in a post on social media platform X today (Monday) that two informed sources confirmed President Trump is scheduled to speak with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel (regime), later today to discuss a Gaza ceasefire, a prisoner exchange deal (involving Zionist captives held by Hamas), and nuclear negotiations with Iran.
The Axios reporter added that this phone call is set to take place amid stalled negotiations over the prisoner swap agreement after another attempt last week by the U.S. and Egypt to reach an acceptable proposal for the deal failed.
Barak Ravid further noted that this planned call will occur two days after the second round of nuclear talks between Iran and the U.S. in Rome regarding a potential agreement.
