Egypt and China Conduct Joint Air Exercise Named “Falcons of Civilization 2025”
According too the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Middle east Monitor, China and Egypt have conducted their first joint air force exercise.
Chinese state media (CCTV) reported that the joint air force exercise between the two countries, titled Falcons of Civilization 2025, commenced at an Egyptian airbase.China deployed fighter jets, early warning aircraft, refueling tankers, and helicopters in this drill.
The report stated that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force participated with J-10C fighter jets,YU-20 refueling tankers,and KJ-500 early warning aircraft. Meanwhile, the Egyptian side utilized MiG-29 fighters in the exercise.
China’s Ministry of Defense issued a statement emphasizing that this exercise holds significant importance for enhancing practical cooperation as well as strengthening friendship and mutual trust between Beijing and Cairo.
