According to the English section of Webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and CNN,U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem became the victim of a theft on Sunday night while dining at a restaurant in downtown Washington, D.C.
The outlet reported that Noem was questioned about the incident during an Easter event at the White House. She confirmed the occurrence and stated that the matter remains unresolved.A law enforcement source revealed that her security detail reviewed surveillance footage from the restaurant, which showed an unidentified white male wearing a medical mask stealing her purse before leaving the premises.
Reports indicate that the bag contained blank checks and approximately $3,000 in cash.
