Siren Sounds in West Bank Settlement Amid Escalating Tensions
According to the English section of the “Webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, Zionist regime media reported that warning sirens were activated in the illegal Zionist settlement of “Eli Zhav,” located east of Salfit in the central occupied West Bank.
No further details have been released regarding the cause of this incident.Despite more then 18 months having passed since the Zionist regime’s attack on the Gaza Strip,resistance groups continue to retaliate with attacks on settlements housing Zionist regime settlers.
In this context, Israeli Army Radio announced earlier this Sunday that following an attack by Al-Qassam Brigades on Israeli military forces in Beit Hanoun, north of Gaza, one soldier was killed and five others were severely wounded.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority claimed that the alert system was activated after a vehicle bypassed an inspection checkpoint at the entrance to Eli Za’af settlement in the northern West Bank.
The outlet alleged that the driver—a Palestinian—was subsequently arrested.
