Vatican Releases Statement on Cause of Death of Global Catholic Leader, Citing His Physician
According too a report by the English section of Webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Vatican has issued a statement from the attending physician of Pope Francis, the late leader of the world’s Catholics who passed away yesterday, announcing the cause of his death.
Based on the death certificate released by Andrea Arcangeli, a Vatican physician, Pope Francis died yesterday morning due to an irreversible cardiac arrest and heart failure.
The publicly released death certificate states that the 88-year-old pontiff had fallen into a coma prior to his passing.
