Yemeni Foreign Minister Calls on International Community to Halt U.S. Support for Gaza Genocide and Attacks on Yemen
In messages addressed to several international officials and organizations, Yemen’s Foreign Minister demanded an end to U.S. support for genocide in Gaza and its destructive attacks on Yemen.
According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah, Jamal Amer, Yemen’s foreign Minister, urged international bodies and officials to pressure the U.S. into halting its aggressions against Yemen.The messages were directed at the President of the UN Human Rights Council, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, members of the Council, the President of the UN General Assembly, the President of the Security Council, the UN Secretary-General, all world governments, as well as international and regional organizations.
Amer called for forming an international committee to thoroughly investigate U.S. crimes against the people of Yemen.He referenced a U.S. attack targeting Ras Issa port, which resulted in 80 civilian deaths and injuries to 150 others.
Amer emphasized: “The silence of the international community regarding U.S. aggression against Yemen encourages further destruction and bloodshed.”
