Iraqi Foreign Minister Meets Kuwaiti Crown Prince in Key Diplomatic Talks
Iraqi Foreign Minister Delivers President’s Invitation to Kuwait Crown Prince for Arab Summit in Baghdad
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn WAA News Agency, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein presented an official invitation from President Abdul Latif Rashid to Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah. The invitation was extended on behalf of Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to attend the upcoming Arab Summit in Baghdad.The Iraqi Foreign Minister stated that Baghdad strongly desires Kuwait’s participation in the Arab Summit, especially during this critical juncture for the Arab world.
Regarding indirect negotiations between iran and the U.S., he added that Iraq is closely monitoring the ongoing talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, expressing hope for positive outcomes. He also reaffirmed Iraq’s support for dialog and negotiation efforts.
During their meeting, discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and cultural spheres, as well as key regional and international developments.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince highlighted Iraq’s pivotal role as a founding member of the Arab League during the talks.
