Hamas Warns⁣ of Unprecedented Humanitarian Catastrophe as Gaza⁤ Crossings Remain Closed for⁤ 50 Days

In a statement, hamas reported a humanitarian disaster endangering the lives of over two‍ million peopel after fifty days of complete closure of Gaza’s crossings. ‍

According to the English section of Webangah ‍News ⁢Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab‌ News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas stated in a declaration: Fifty days after the total blockade of Gaza’s crossings by ⁢the‌ occupying regime, the region faces an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, with over two‌ million lives at risk.

The Hamas statement noted: The closure has caused severe shortages of⁣ all ‍basic necessities—food, water, fuel, medicine, and even essential ‍vaccines for children—pushing Gaza’s residents toward famine and a health disaster while worsening daily.⁤ This‍ crisis is compounded by brutal daily massacres⁢ in residential ‍neighborhoods, shelters ⁤and tents, and also purposeful targeting of hospitals and civilian‌ infrastructure. ‌

Hamas emphasized:⁢ Using‍ starvation as a weapon ⁢against more than 2.25 million ⁢people constitutes a war crime and blatant violation of⁣ all international and humanitarian treaties—premeditated ⁣by Zionist regime leaders. The continuation of‌ this ⁣situation represents‌ a moral, political, and humanitarian failure for the international community and global institutions.

Hamas ⁢reiterated⁤ its call to⁤ the⁣ international ⁢community: We once again ‌urge world governments, the United Nations (UN), and all stakeholders⁤ to ⁢act responsibly by⁣ pressuring netanyahu—this ⁣war‌ criminal—and his fascist cabinet to open crossings instantly so essential supplies can enter Gaza‌ without delay.
