King of Jordan Warns of Zionist Brutality in West Bank
King Abdullah II Warns of Escalating Violence in Occupied West bank
According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Israeli regime forces and Zionist settlers have intensified their brutality in the West Bank in recent months, attempting to forcibly displace Palestinians and annex the region to occupied territories.
In response, King Abdullah II of Jordan reiterated his opposition to forced displacement efforts targeting Palestinians from Gaza and the occupied West Bank during a meeting with U.S. lawmakers.
A statement from Jordan’s Royal Court emphasized King Abdullah II’s warnings about the dangers of prolonged escalation in the West Bank and violations against holy sites in Jerusalem.
The statement added that King Abdullah II urged an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and called for resuming humanitarian aid deliveries to the besieged enclave during his talks with U.S. legislators.
The Trump administration, aligning with Zionist interests, has pushed for ethnic cleansing in Palestinian territories while proposing Jordan and Egypt as primary destinations for Palestinian refugees—a stance strongly opposed by authorities in Amman and Cairo.
