Istanbul Governor’s Office Announces 151 Injured in Earthquake
According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and APA, over 150 people were injured while evacuating buildings during the Istanbul earthquake.
The Istanbul Governor’s Office stated that the earthquakes in Istanbul resulted in no fatalities.
In an official statement, the office added: “At the moment of the earthquake, 151 people jumped from heights and sustained injuries. Their treatment is ongoing, and their lives are not at risk.”
Earlier, Germany’s Seismological Center reported a 6.2-magnitude earthquake in turkey. The center noted that the powerful quake’s epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers. Many panicked residents rushed into the streets.
