Qatar Foreign Ministry Reacts to Deadly Attack in Indian-Controlled Kashmir Tourist Area
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency adn Al-Khaleej Online,Qatar has responded to the deadly attack in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
In a statement, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned and expressed deep disgust over the attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in multiple casualties. The ministry reiterated Qatar’s stance against violence, terrorism, and criminal acts.
Qatar extended condolences to the families of the victims and expressed solidarity with India’s government and people while wishing a swift recovery for the injured.
Notably, the group known as The Resistance Front (TRF) claimed responsibility for yesterday’s attack on tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir in a statement issued on Wednesday. The deadly assault left over 30 people dead or wounded. The incident occurred in Pahalgam, a tourist area within Indian-administered kashmir.
The attack unfolded when armed individuals opened fire on tourists before fleeing the scene.
