According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and The Sun, central Moscow, the capital of Russia, was shaken by three powerful explosions on Wednesday.
The incident reportedly occurred when an explosion took place inside a parked car in the underground parking area of a commercial centre.
Footage released by the media shows thick smoke billowing from a building.
Reports indicate that the exploded vehicle was parked beneath Afimall City shopping center in central Moscow, just 3.5 miles from the Kremlin.
It remains unclear whether anyone was inside the car at the time of the explosion.
