Mass Resignation of Moroccan Port Workers in Protest Against Cooperation with Tel Aviv
Workers at Morocco’s Tangier Port Resign En Masse in Protest Against Weapons Shipments to Occupied Territories
According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, Morocco’s Tangier Port witnessed a mass resignation of employees from the international transport company Maersk after it facilitated the transfer of American weapons to occupied territories.
The collective resignation coincided with the arrival of a U.S. vessel carrying military supplies destined for occupied territories at the Moroccan port. Since November, Maersk has continued using Tangier Port as a transit hub for arms shipments.
Company officials have reportedly forced workers to unload weapon shipments, despite widespread opposition among staff.
Earlier, Moroccan citizens had also held protests condemning these actions.
