An Attack in Kashmir Escalates Tensions Between india and Pakistan
Mehr News agency, International Group: Following an attack on a group of tourists in Indian-controlled Kashmir, which left dozens dead and wounded, severe tensions arose between the two countries today.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement urging its citizens to avoid travel to Pakistan and calling for Indian nationals currently in Pakistan to leave the country instantly.
The statement read: “In line with the decisions of the Cabinet Security Commitee after the ‘Pahalgam’ terrorist attack, the Indian government has decided to suspend visa services for Pakistani nationals with immediate affect. Additionally, all valid visas already issued to Pakistani citizens stand canceled and will be enforced starting April 27, 2025.”
The statement strongly advised Indian citizens against traveling to Pakistan under any circumstances until further notice.The Indian government has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Pakistan and urged those currently in Pakistan to return to India as soon as possible.

The Pakistani defense minister also rejected allegations of supporting terrorism and accused India of backing Baloch armed groups and facilitating terrorist activities through its consulates in Afghanistan.
Pakistan’s Countermeasures
Following an emergency meeting in Pakistan,the country declared Indian military advisors in Islamabad as personae non gratae and gave them until the end of April to leave Pakistan.
Additionally, Pakistan suspended all trade relations with India, including third-party trade transactions.
