Zionist Regime Media Acknowledge Death of One Soldier and Injury of Six Others in Severe Security Incident in Southern Gaza Strip
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and the Palestinian TV network Al-Youm, reports that Zionist regime media have confirmed the death of an occupying soldier during clashes in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
These outlets also admitted that the deputy commander of one of the occupying army’s battalions in Rafah was wounded after Resistance fighters targeted his headquarters with an anti-armor missile.Hebrew-language media stated that the number of soldiers injured in this severe security incident for them in southern Gaza has risen to six, with one helicopter transporting the wounded landing at a hospital in Tel Aviv.
Earlier, the qassam Brigades—the military wing of Hamas—announced that its fighters targeted four Israeli soldiers and officers on Al-Awda Street east of Beit Hanoun settlement in northern Gaza.
